We had such a delightful stay with homemade cookies available all day and a lovely courtyard perfect for relaxing. It was great to unwind in the garden area and enjoy breakfast on the sunny patio. The only minor hiccup was a bit of rust on the bathroom faucet, but overall, it was a fantastic experience! 😊

Charming historic property with a homey feel. The room was spacious, clean, and included a small kitchenette, which added to the convenience. I appreciated the quiet ambiance, enhanced by the white noise from the AC, making for a restful night despite some street sounds. However, the creaky stairs could be heard throughout the building, which might bother some guests.

Charming, Charming, Charming
The decor in my room was fine, showcasing original details from 1888. I loved the large soaking tub and the bright skylights that filled the space even on a gray day. Plus, the location was perfect, right by lovely parks and a variety of restaurants! 🚶♀️🛋️
would recommend ❤️😊

missingWrote a review on Aug 19spacious roomconvenient kitchenfamily tablecheck-in confusion
The Deluxe King Artist Studio features spaciousness with plenty of natural light, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The kitchen area is equipped with a fridge, adding convenience for guests with special dietary needs, along with a family-style dining table for gathering with others.
Check-in felt a bit chaotic, with several old-fashioned keys and a lack of clear instructions for navigating the premises. Breakfast options, primarily self-serve, left something to be desired — a bit more variety or hot items would have been nice instead of just dry cereals and pastries. The bathroom in the room is small, which might not work for those who prefer more spacious accommodations.

I had a lovely stay at the Morgan State House Inn. The building has beautiful historical decor and a cozy feel that immediately made me feel at home. My room, the Queen Studio City View Annex, was spacious and comfortable, providing great natural light. The location near the park was central, making it easy to explore nearby restaurants and shops. The staff were friendly and attentive, and they promptly responded to my questions via text. I enjoyed the self-serve breakfast, which had a decent selection. However, I did encounter a few issues. The bathroom faucet was a bit rusty and didn't operate smoothly, which was disappointing. The shower head was positioned too high to adjust easily. Parking was also a hassle, requiring a short walk to a lot a block away. Despite these inconveniences, I appreciated the unique charm of the inn and the friendly service. I would likely return, but with some mixed feelings about the bathroom fixtures and parking situation.

We checked out the Empire State Plaza and enjoyed a show at The Egg. The room was comfy and unique, and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was self-serve and there were snacks available all day, which was super convenient. Perfect spot for a group getaway!
One thing to note is the limited parking spaces. We had to deal with street parking at times, which can be tricky.

Ideal for a unique getaway
The room was spacious and well-decorated, with a delightful sitting area overlooking a lovely garden where I spent time with a glass of wine. There was a great self-serve breakfast setup with fresh fruit and a homemade pie that exceeded my expectations for a simple breakfast.
It wasn't exactly affordable, but for what you get, still reasonable.
